Sister Margherita Marchione to Speak at Montfort Graduation June 13

At graduation ceremonies on Saturday, June 13, at 10 am, The Montfort Academy's class of 2009 and their proud families will be treated to a commencement speech by Sister Margherita Marchione, Ph.D., professor of Italian language and literature at Farleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey and a prolific author. 

Sister Margherita is a Fulbright Scholar and a Columbia University Garibaldi Scholar. She has been honored with the Star of Solidarity of the Republic of Italy, induction into the New Jersey Literary Hall of Fame and the Papal award, Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice Cross. She is a leading scholar on the life of Pope Pius XII.

Recently named one of the top fifty Catholic high schools in America for the fourth year in a row by Acton Institute for the Study of Religion & Liberty, The Montfort Academy is Westchester County's only classical high school, focusing on academic excellence and character development for boys and girls.
